有物混成
There is the eminence that exists prior to the manifestation.
先天地生。
It alone exists by itself prior to the existence of the universe.
寂兮寥兮，獨立而不改，
Deep in stillness and silence, it is the pure subjectivity free of objectivity.
周行而不殆，可以為天下母。
It permeates without depletion and is the maternity that animates the manifestation.
吾不知其名，字之曰道。
I do not know its name, if have to, I call it Tao.
強為之名曰大。
If have to, I call it the greatness that defies conceptual comprehension.
大曰逝，
That which defies conceptual comprehension is of afar.
逝曰遠，
Yet the farness is still of the conceptual speculation.
遠曰反。
It is, as it is, as of the moment of now.
故道大、天大、地大、人亦大。
Therefore, with life in manifestation, there are four greats: Tao, the light, the sentience, and the individual human beigns.
域中有四大，而人居其一焉。
With the four greats in life and manifestation, human is one of them.
人法地，地法天，天法道，道法自然。
Humans follow the sentience. The sentience follows the light. The light follows Tao, Tao follows itself as it is.
