Hello Howard, I wanted to check in with you. I hope you are well.
Recently as restrictions in Belgium have loosened somewhat I have been able to pick up my partner practice once more.
I have attended some of Bram and Kris’s lessons as well as training with some private partners.
Kyams Sharky, who attended your previous seminar and lives in Brussels, has also gotten in touch with me to begin training once more after a 2-year hiatus, and we have begun training Prana Dynamics together which we intend to do regularly.
It’s been nice for me to discover that despite only being able to practice solo during the majority of the Covid-pandemic, there has still been a progression and my solo cultivation has also resulted in fruition for partner practice in Prana Dynamics.
Last Friday evening I had a particularly wonderful session with Dries. We were able to synchronize very well. I felt in touch not just with the physical layer but also the emotional qualities of lightheartedness and equanimity.
It was interesting to find that allowing my abdominal center or heart center to open, resulted in Dries losing any desire to continue to grab, so he simply gently let go.
At some stage, we moved into Dries feeding me (telegraphed) attacks, and we found I was also able to neutralize most of these even with a very slight touch. Near the end of our session, we were so in sync that I was able to use mental intent (yi) even from a distance, removing his desire/ability to muster an attack.
Of course, I realize that this is related to the high degree of synchronization we had at this stage and do not think I could readily apply this to someone I had not practiced with extensively 🙂
Dries is a very good feeder and partner to work with and also has a high degree of sensitivity, which I think also plays an important part in our success.
After every session, I am filled with gratitude for the gift of Prana Dynamics which you have shared with us.
Training sessions are joyous and your method has allowed me to a deeper layer of the internal work than I was able to before in a playful manner.
Thank you so much for your generosity.
I hope you will be able to visit us once more in the future (though likely only in 2022 I suspect).
In peace,
Pablo
