People rarely truly observe the wind.
⸻
They only see:
Leaves moving.
Ripples across water.
Clouds slowly drifting.
The edge of clothing softly lifting.
⸻
And so,
they believe they have seen the wind.
⸻
But in quiet observation,
one begins to realize:
the wind itself has never been seen.
⸻
What is seen
is only the movement left behind
as the wind passes through the world.
⸻
The wind has no form.
Yet it reveals the forms of all things.
⸻
The inner world of a human being
is often the same.
⸻
When emotions arise,
people think:
“I am angry.”
“I am sad.”
“I am anxious.”
“I am afraid.”
⸻
But when one truly observes,
the body appears first.
⸻
The chest tightens.
Breathing becomes shallow.
The shoulders subtly lift.
The jaw lightly clenches.
The mind begins searching for reasons.
⸻
Then,
the personality begins naming.
⸻
This is hurt.
This is loneliness.
This is loss.
This is suffering.
⸻
The more names there are,
the less observation remains.
⸻
Most of the time,
emotion itself is not the problem.
⸻
What creates suffering
is the inner resistance that follows.
⸻
Not wanting to feel.
Not willing to admit.
Rushing to explain.
Rushing to control.
Rushing to turn everything into an answer.
⸻
And so,
what could have simply passed through
remains trapped within the body.
⸻
Over time,
it slowly becomes personality.
⸻
Habitual defense.
Habitual suppression.
A constant need to control something.
⸻
Eventually,
people even begin to believe:
“This is who I am.”
⸻
When wind is blocked by walls,
it begins to spiral.
⸻
When life is blocked by fear,
it also begins to knot itself.
⸻
True observation
is not about stopping the wind.
⸻
It is about slowly seeing,
within the wind itself,
that there is no fixed self.
⸻
True relaxation
is not becoming empty of everything.
⸻
It is allowing
what was meant to pass through
to pass through once again.
⸻
When emotion comes,
see it.
When pain comes,
see it.
When joy comes,
see it as well.
⸻
Without grasping.
Without pushing away.
Without rushing to name.
⸻
Simply let the wind pass through.
⸻
When the inner world
no longer builds walls everywhere,
life slowly regains its flow.
⸻
One will still feel.
Still be wounded.
Still move through sorrow and joy.
⸻
But no longer mistake
every passing wind
for oneself.
⸻
The wind moves through the forest.
Leaves gently tremble.
⸻
The wind leaves nothing behind.
And deep within observation,
the one who observes
also slowly becomes quiet.
